CIG Membership Database and Online Store Implementation

Overview:

Takin.Solutions upgraded the CIG Drupal website to implement an integrated membership management system and an online store. The project aimed to streamline membership administration, facilitate online sign-up and renewal, and provide a flexible platform for sales and donations.

Scope of Work:

  • Developed a centralized membership database with online registration, renewal, and payment features
  • Enabled management of member records by CIG staff, including tracking payment status, sending reminders, and managing group memberships
  • Assigned unique membership IDs and implemented bilingual support (English/French)
  • Built an online store integrated with PayPal to sell memberships, donations, and additional products
  • Supported offline payment documentation and import of existing membership lists

Outcome:

The upgrade provided CIG with a modern, user-friendly system for managing its members and associated transactions, improving administrative efficiency and public engagement while enabling future expansion of online sales and services.
